Concrete Calculator The concrete calculator allows you to estimate the number of cubic meters (or cubic feet) of concrete dry mix or grout required to complete a project. All you need to know is the length, width and height of the object you will be creating. Use the calculator to determine the volume of concrete you’ll need for any wall, flatwork, steps, or footings. To determine the total volume, add the volumes for each of the walls and floors together. To calculate concrete needs for cylindrical columns, you will need to know the diameter and the height of the column. To calculate the mortar you will need for block or masonry work, you will need to know the dimension of one block and the total number of blocks. Note: These are exact calculations. They do not take into consideration job site variables or wastage. It is advisable to add 0.5 of a cubic meter to the total to factor this in. IMPORTANT!! |
